Production
Solarcells specializes in the production of high-quality photovoltaic panels in Luxembourg. Our panels are assembled at the ancient site of Heintz van Landewick in Hollerich, very close to the center of Luxembourg City.
Local production ensures constant monitoring and traceability of products and raw materials.
Frame
The panel frame is made of high-quality anodized black aluminum, combining robustness, durability, and an ideal weight for handling.
Glass
The anti-reflective tempered glass ensures increased robustness and optimized efficiency.
Encapsulant (EVA)
We exclusively use the latest generation of monocrystalline silicon with PERC technology, offering the highest efficiency and a low loss rate.

A special resin encases the entire assembly, guaranteeing a lifespan of over 30 years.
The cell interconnections are made of tin-plated copper enriched with silver.
Encapsulant (EVA)
The encapsulant protects the solar cells. It provides insulation and protection against moisture and impacts, while maintaining the performance and longevity of the panel.
Membrane (Tedlar)
The membrane of a solar panel, known as the “backsheet,” protects the internal components from environmental elements, provides electrical insulation, contributes to the panel’s durability, and offers structural support to the photovoltaic cells.
Junction box
Finally, a junction box equipped with bypass diodes optimizes performance in shaded conditions. It is completed with appropriate wires and connectors, all sealed with high-quality silicone for electronic applications.
